Registration

Registration for COBA 2021 is NOW OPEN.  Please find below fees, inclusions and terms and conditions to assist you with planning your participation.

COBA Members may register for the Virtual Convention and Financial Crimes Symposium as a package, or separately should you wish to attend one day only.  Sector suppliers may register for the Virtual Convention.  Discounted Group Registrations are available where 5 or more attendees from the same organisation are registered.

Advance Delegate Registration Cut-off: 8 October 2021 (cut-off 11pm AEST) – CLOSED

Delegate Registration Deadline: 25 November 2021 (cut-off 11pm AEDT)

  • *Registration & participation in the Financial Crimes Symposium (29 November) is open to COBA Members only, from Executive level to frontline staff working in fraud and financial crimes, AML/CTF, operational fraud areas, risk, audit and compliance. CEO/GM’s or Directors from smaller COBA Members are also welcome to attend relevant sessions.
  • Anyone wishing to attend the Convention and/or Financial Crimes Symposium is strictly required to be registered as a Delegate. We highly recommend participants attend using their own unique log in to take advantage of the networking opportunities that will be on offer. Sharing of unique log in details is not permitted.
  • If your organisation registers more than 5 delegates for the 2 days (Financial Crimes Symposium and the Virtual Convention), the Financial Crimes Symposium or the Virtual Convention only, a discount per delegate will apply. The group registration form must be used if you have 5 or more registrants and the discount is only available where the registration takes place in a single transaction. If registering 1 to 4 delegates, please use the single delegate registration form.

Method of Payment

Payment of fees must accompany all registration forms.  No registration will be confirmed until payment is received.

Payment can be made by the following methods:

Credit Card – MasterCard, Visa, American Express accepted.

Please note, if you elect to pay by Credit Card a 1% surcharge is applicable for all Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards and will be added to the total amount.

By registering for the Convention and/or Financial Crimes Symposium you must complete the registration process and agree to the terms and conditions.

Registration
Anyone wishing to attend the Convention and/or Financial Crimes Symposium is strictly required to be registered as a Delegate.

Audio and Video Recording
By attending this event, you acknowledge that COBA has the right to use, reproduce, broadcast, rebroadcast, or incorporate in any manner whatsoever, all or any portion of photographs and/or videos of you or your participation in the Event for use in marketing materials and/or training materials and for internal use.  You understand that the Materials may be substantially edited, altered, rearranged or modified.

Privacy Policy
By allowing COBA to receive your contact information throughout the event, you agree to be contacted in future for marketing purposes.  A delegate list will be provided to sponsors which you can opt out of appearing in during the registration process.

Cancellation of Registration
No refunds will be provided.  Content will be available to view post-convention.  A replacement delegate can be sent with no penalty charged but must be advised to the Convention Secretariat in writing.

Group Registration

Group Registration discounts may apply with more than five (5) delegates from the same organisation are registered for the Virtual Convention or the Virtual Convention and Financial Crimes Symposium, and payment for the group is made in one single transaction. Delegates cannot be added to the group after the initial group is processed and will not be provided the group discount.

Views
The views expressed by any event attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of COBA. All event attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.

Virtual Conference Platform  
The event is being delivered virtually, and as such, the event organisers will provide clear guidelines on best operating systems to use for optimum participation in the event for both sponsors and attendees.  The organisers will provide you online access to and use of the Event via the Internet by use of an attendee-provided browser. You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining at your own expense, all equipment needed to access the Event, including but not limited to Internet access and adequate bandwidth. All attendees are responsible for reading information on the requirements and testing their system.  COBA will have representatives to help you with technical issues but it is not guaranteed that all attendees will have the correct equipment.  The event organisers will take no responsibility or accept requests for a refund if the guidance for viewing is not followed.
